An annual ornamental plant from the Aster family, 40-60 cm high. It blooms from July to September. Inflorescences are densely double, yellow-orange in color, 10 cm in diameter.
Drought-resistant and thermophilic, prefers sunny areas with fertile loose soil. They are grown by direct sowing in open ground in April-May according to the scheme 30 x 40 cm, 2-3 seeds each to a depth of 2-5 cm. Seedlings tolerate frosts down to -6 °C.
It is used for planting in flower beds, in groups.
